The idea of having a job is so deeply woven into modern culture's Standard Human Intelligence Thoughtware that to talk about what is really going on may seem blasphemous.

Yet here you are... a blasphemer! A heretic! Asking about your profession, your calling. Now how you are supposed to make enough money to live?

The assumption that you need money to survive can give you cold chills of gut-wrenching fear and self-loathing even before you get out of bed in the morning.

So why are you doing it? (holding that assumption...)

'Going to work' means being a slave and a pawn in somebody else's gameworld, trading the hours of your life for pieces of paper or zero(s) in your bank account.

You never get these hours back.

The fact that you are willing to trade hours of your Life, moving forward the psychopathic corporate agenda for pieces of paper might seem absurd for a person like you. But you are still doing it. Why?

The most common justification is that you need money to live.

However, the reason is not the cause.

You have bought into the lie that money (pieces of papers and coins) can buy safety. The more money you have, the safer you are supposed to feel.

Have you ever found that to be true? How much hours of Life are you willing to give away to find out? How much money is enough money? The answer is never!

Why not? Because behind they belief money can buy safety is the hidden holy-grail hope that if only you have enough money, you might finally stop feeling Fear.

"Advertising is based on one thing: happiness. You know what happiness is? Happiness is smell of a new car. It's freedom from fear. It's a billboard on the side of the road that screams with reassurance that whatever you're doing, its okay. You are okay."

The gross assumption being that feeling safe comes from no longer feeling afraid. The even grosser assumption is that you stop feeling afraid all together.

What else have you tried to stop feeling afraid? Drinking? Smoking? Porn? Sexting multiple partners at the same in the middle of the night? Overeating? Undereating? Overworking? Streesing out? Has it ever worked? Probably not...

I am letting in on a secret: no amount of money will ever, ever make your Fear go away.

You think that if you have enough money, then you do not have to feel the Fear of - because you think you do not have to - Be With others, Negotiate Intimacy, Ask for what you want, Invent new Game space, Cavitate Parallel Culture space for Archiarchy to thrive, Take a Stand for Your Quest, Build a Team, have Integrity by doing the things you said you would do, getting off your Positionality so you can Radically Relate to other Beings in Extraordinary and Archetypal space, go on Adventure and bring others on Adventures with you, Hold and Navigate space for Discovery and High Level Fun, and so on...

You think money can buy you out of the Fear of Living. That's right, you are not afraid of dying, you are afraid of Living with a capital L. You have resolved yourself to Surviving by sacrificing your Being on the altar of safety.

At the same time, being a pawn in someone else's gameworld is very tasty food for your Gremlin. Your Gremlin can blame, complain, betray, take revenge, etc... but this way of life is very expansive for your Being who gets put away further and further down in the depth of some abyss where its scream might stop reaching you if you ignore it long enough.
YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO MAKE: SLAVE OR SERVANT?
Your choice is simple.
For most of us, this choice opens when we are 18 years old.
If you are homeschooled, or unschooled, the choice comes much earlier.
Shall you be a slave of your Gremlin enforced survival strategy (your Box)?
Or...
Shall you be a servant of your Bright Principles and Archetypal Lineage?
No one can make this choice for you.
No one can stop you from making this choice.
If you do not make the choice for being a servant consciously and publicly, then you have already made the choice for being a slave unconsciously and secretly.
The older you get, the more difficult this choice becomes to change, because your Box, with its habitual Standard Human Intelligence Thoughtware (S.H.I.T.) grows more and more crystallized.
Probably you know someone whose Box is already so crystallized that they keep repeating the same stories each time you visit with them?
You do not have to let this become your future !
INHABITING AN ECONOMY OF NONMATERIAL VALUE EXCHANGE
Many of us are engaged in building-out and trying to inhabit experimental regenerative-culture gameworlds, centered on nurturing complex healthy ecosystems on Earth, centered on the evolution of human consciousness, centered on healing each other, centered on Radical Responsibility and love.

One of the many keys for practical success in next-culture gameworld-building is to re-evaluate what is being valued.

Basing a socio-economic system around valuing material stuff - meaning, to value how much of certain kinds of stuff you have (even numbers in a computer is stuff) - is doomed to duplicate exactly what modern culture already produces.

Material stuff is limited, because material space is limited. This automatically results in competition, scarcity, winners and losers, strife.

But think about this: In energetic domains, space is not limited.

In nonmaterial worlds, there is unlimited space for building out new gameworld spaces centered around creating and exchanging nonmaterial values.

Nonmaterial values are often more valuable than any material currency can pay for. (Think about trying to pay for someone who can comfort the dying, for someone who can transform conflicts into new possibilities for everyone's satisfaction, for someone who can facilitate the healing of deep emotional wounds, etc. Trying to give money to pay for a new life is laughably inadequate.)

What do we mean by ‘nonmaterial values’?

(Please keep in mind that asking 'What are nonmaterial values?' is risky business, because the reader may be committed to a value system that only values material stuff ('diamonds are forever') and may reject nonmaterial value as worthless. Still, let us take that risk. Let’s give it a try.)

An economy centered on exchanging nonmaterial value would include innumerable currencies.

Unlike Forex, with its 195 currencies from 195 national banking systems all interchangeable through standardized exchange rates, Valex is a global network of Archiarchy gameworlds (such as ecovillages and nanonations) for exchanging nonmaterial valuables.

What gets exchanged at Valex is true value, without the interference of a currency. Understanding Valex starts with gaining new clarity about Value.

Here is a tiny fraction of a beginning list of nonmaterial value that emerges from deep within the center of your Being.
Which one is you?

Providing Emotional Healing Processes (EHP).
Clarifying and deepening context in any gameworld.
Accessing nothingness and not-knowing as resources.
Creating possibility.
Holding and Navigating nonlinear and unreasonable spaces.
Accompanying the dying.
Distilling transformational distinctions.
Performing memetic surgeries.
Pulling the rug out from under assumptions, expectations, resentments.
Relocating the Point Of Origin.
Dismantling irrelevant gameworlds.
Igniting the powers of declaring, choosing, and asking.
Inventing opportunity.
Shifting ordinary space into extraordinary or archetypal space.
Using segway phrases to start interesting conversations with strangers.
Jacking-In to Bright Principles and Archetypal Lineage as external resources.
Stellating conscious anger, fear, sadness, and joy into Archetypal internal resources.

If none of these turns on your Being, then be more specific. Sense into yourself and find what you came here to do. Ask for help from your Possibility Team or 3Cell. If they successfully provide you with such help ('for free'...), then you directly experience receiving Nonmaterial Value.

What if it is true that what you think you are supposed to do, and what you think you must do, and what you truly want to do (what you came here to do...) are all the same thing?

Your Outrageous Rage...
Your Job is what you want to exist.
How do you know what you want to exist?
You feel angry that it does not yet exist!

Perhaps you have had the sensation of being so frustrated because something was not a certain way. You got so angry that you went ahead and made it happen. Can you recall the clarity and power that flowed through you? Do you remember how the Universe conformed to your reality-shaping offers? You probably did not know how to make it happen. And it was irrelevant. You probably did not have permission to do it. And you did not ask for it. You did whatever it took to bring what you wanted to exist into existence. What if your unreasonable and outrageous Rage that says “I want this to exist” is your real job? What if riding that rageful Dragon was what you came here to do?

If this were so, it would free you from having to manipulate yourself with circumstances to do your job. School programs you to manipulate yourself to do what you already want to do: learning. You learn so that you can give the correct answer to the teacher and be rewarded. You learn so that you can have good grades and be admired by your parents. You learn so that you can get into the best college or university and fulfill the promise of having a ‘good job’ upon exit from modern education. Even if you decided to be a ‘bad student’, have low grades, and receive negative attention from your teachers and parents, your behavior to not conform to external pressures was as much shaped by those external pressures as if you decided to abide by them. From an early age, you have been trained to seek circumstances that create the appropriate pressure for you to deliver your work.

It could be that still today, you install fake external pressure circumstances to manipulate yourself to create what you already want to come into existence. For example, you might impose deadlines on yourself, or pay people to check-in on you, have a boss that tells you what to do, or enroll in classes to give you assignments as a form of self-manipulation. Did you ever notice yourself resenting these external pressures even though you arranged them yourself?

Or maybe you develop elaborate and noble reasons why you are doing your job — some of them you might never want to reveal publicly. Maybe you deliver your services to the world ‘because’ it might makes you rich and famous, or ‘because’ it might give you enough money to survive, or ‘because’ people might love you more, or ‘because’ other people need what you are offering, and even maybe ‘because’ you think it might save the world…

When you do things ‘because’ of a reason, you place expectations on the results. You might expect that the world becomes a better place, or that people change or that you become successful (whatever that means.) What if your expectations are not fulfilled? Then you become resentful against the world for not conforming to your expectations. Delivering your service then feeds your underworld addictions as a massive source of Gremlin food.

Is it possible that you are still using the school-instilled strategy of inflicting external pressures upon yourself to do what you already want to do because you do not know that you have access to your internal resource of unreasonable Rage at any time for no reason?

What if you dropped off the ‘because’ and the ‘in order to’ that are only acting as acceptable bypasses from your authentic Rage? What if you freed yourself from reasonableness and became an outrageous force of Rage in the world? It is a sort of madness to deliver your singular work according to a Rage that says, “I want this to exist” when the only reward that you would ever get is that this comes into existence. The result of your unshakeable clarity stands alone without any reasons or expectations attached. If someone asks you “Why are you doing this?” you would have no other explanation but that you wanted it to exist. They might push back and say, “But, why?”. The authentic answer would be: “No reason.”

If you have had this experience before, you know that such unreasonable Rage burns right through your emotional fears of not being good enough, or fears of making a mistake because you don’t know how it goes. Such Rage ignores your Gremlin strategies to play victim and get revenge. Such flaming Clarity is unhindered by the opinions and fears of other people. Their claim of ‘impossibility’ becomes irrelevant.
When unleashing such resources, your efforts and energy are moved to create the particular results that would bring your Rage to its satisfaction. It can be intense. Your inner experience might be something like: “Things are like this, and I want them to be like that, but they aren’t like that, and it drives me mad enough to jump out of bed in the morning and do whatever it takes to make it how I want it to be!”

When the thing comes into its own existence, it stands away from you and you are fulfilled, until the next layer of Outrage comes, which might only be a few moments later! It could be about writing The Book, or writing your next Article, delivering a WorkTalk, or a Workshop, making your next video, creating a Team of Edgeworkers or Intimacy Journeyers or Trainers, building a Gaian Gameworld such as a Bridge-House, or creating a codex for inhabiting a Nanonation, etc… Whatever it is you create, the engine behind your gestures is your outrageous Rage.

For example, right now, I am using my outrageous Rage: that I want this article to exist in the world, to fuel my fingers bashing the keys. Only after this article is written, edited, proofread, published on Medium, posted on my website, Facebook and sent in my newsletter, will my Rage be satisfied. This Rage enlivens my commitment to write this article, as well as my integrity to my Archetypal Lineage which is providing this precious clarity.

As a result, my collaborations with others create and harvest new possibilities to bring my article into existence. Taking a shower or washing the breakfast dishes supports my physical body to bring this article into existence. I go through my next Emotional Healing Process or Adulthood Initiation as the path of bringing this article into existence!

I was going down the elevator in the Charles Schwab headquarters building (a major financial firm), after a day of work as a computer programmer, contracted through a small consulting agency. I was living with my beloved late sister Inbal in an apartment in Oakland, and this gig was part of my overall effort to work as little as possible and keep my consumption as low as possible. I was able to work 2-3 days a week while going to graduate school to study sociology.

The youth of today are absolutely right in recognizing this nonsense of earning a living. We keep inventing jobs because of this false idea that everybody has to be employed at some kind of drudgery because, according to Malthusian Darwinian theory he must justify his right to exist. So we have inspectors of inspectors and people making instruments for inspectors to inspect inspectors. The true business of people should be to go back to school and think about whatever it was they were thinking about before somebody came along and told them they had to earn a living.

Reading Experiments builds you different Matrix than doing Experiments. You need both kinds of Matrix. One without the other is insufficient. Thinking about doing Experiment does not change your Energetic Body, and you do not receive the Matrix into your Being. Thinking instead of doing can be hesitation due to fear. Sometimes the hesitation is intelligent, sometimes not. Removing unnecessary Energetic Blocks causing your hesitation can suddenly cause a vast increase in your intelligence. We call this: High Level Fun.

Did you ever say that before?
Did you ever think these words to yourself about your life before?
When you 'do' your job, what happens to your life? Does your job go away, to be replaced by tomorrow’s endless list of work to do?
"I'm just doing my life..."
But what if you were not?
This Experiment is to replace the Memetic Construct you have built up in your mind around 'doing' - such as in: 'doing my job' or 'doing my life' - with an entirely different Memetic Construct.
For the next 7 days, tell 3 different people each day: "I am just _________________ my job" (or 'my life'). Replace 'doing' with one of these substitutes:
redecorating...
taking Radical Responsibility for...
reinventing...
replacing myself in...
transforming...
making a television series of...
(create your favorite, such as: re-wallpapering..., having a funeral for..., giving away..., pulling the rug out from under..., disillusioning..., recreating..., remarketing..., renegotiating...,)

Remember, this is not a complaining session. This is not a victim conversation. There is no cynicism in your voice. This is StartOver time.

After you make your statement, do not destroy the extraordinary Space that it creates. Instead, stay attentively THERE, with whomever you say this to. Take a stroll together in the new territory that just opened up. If you like that Space, figure out some way to 'hammer a stake' into the 'ground' so that you can find your way back there. Create a new Reminding Factor or a new Practice.

This is how to create a powerful exciting moment in what you might usually regard as an ordinary Space. You call in unexpected creation forces that help you go sideways through a Nonlinear possibility Doorway into a new future for yourself and others.

Painting Doorways is a natural set of talents that you can develop. You have the power to ongoingly re-contextualize your job, or your life, or your relationship, or your future, or your church, or...
Nobody can do this for you. Nobody can stop you from doing it.

You can not leave a job if there is no one to replace you. If no one else can do your job it is not because you are special, it is because you did not replace yourself. You can replace yourself as soon as you start a job. Replace yourself now.
How to replace yourself:
Let go of being special. You have been holding on to what you know to prove that you are needed, that you are a good worker, and that you are successful. Drop it.
Share everything you have discovered. Make it your prize for everyone to know all your tricks.
Find someone to replace you. Train them on everything that you can do. Empower them to be even better than you. When you have replaced yourself, leave. Move on.
With your next project or discovery, find someone to replace you from the very beginning. Instead of competing with your colleagues for the next project, invite them to join you. Do the work, then share what you have discovered. Tell them everything you know and reveal all of your secrets. Set them up so well, they can do your job.

In this case, you have Parts about money, work, time, 'responsibility', 'adulthood', and 'authority.' (These words have 'quotes' around them because the meanings we are taught in modern culture are all irresponsible and unconscious. Other meanings are possible. When you learn new meanings it changes your relationship to the world.)

This Experiment is to get together with your Team and discover your Job Parts. Spend 20 minutes with each person. Help them identify and list all their Job Parts. Then, help them discover each Part's Purpose. Write it all down in their Beep! Book. Title the section: MY JOB PARTS. Include all their Parts and each Part's Purpose. Mostly the Purposes are unconscious Shadow World Survival Purposes. Write them all down. As the Revolutionary Juan Santos said, "You cannot change what you cannot face."

Become the Zookeeper of and consciously care for your Parts now living in the Economic Creatures section of your Inner Zoo.

For the next 7 days, introduce each of your Part Creatures in your Economic Section to one new person.

Reread your list and notice the emotions that come up for you. Share with your team and write them in the back of your Beep! Book for an Emotional Healing Process. Bring special attention to the arguments and justifications you give for why none of these ideas will actually work.

You are an excellent worker.

Who is this really working for? You notice that things that work for you, may not work for your boss. The things that work for mega-corporations do not work for the frogs, the butterflies, or the packs of migrating animals.

For this experiment, you will get real about what is going on in the world and find who this is working for.
Open your favorite news source, look through each article, and scan for who the world is working for. Write it down in your Beep! Book.
Keep this question with you for one whole day. Notice who it works for to have litter on the street, plastic bags at the supermarket, or cheap wages at restaurants. Bring your attention to these things, especially to the things you think could not possibly be working for anyone.
At the end of the day write for 5 minutes in your Beep! Book about what is really going on in the world and who it is working for. Is the world working for you?

When you believe that your value is reflected by money, you limit your availability to receive money by the beliefs about your value. In this experiment, practice detaching your value from money.

For one week, check with every payment that you receive whether a story comes up of your value connected to the money amount: “Oh that’s only $x, they don't value me”, “Why don’t they pay me more, they don’t value me”, “Wow, look how great I am that I deserve this much money” etc. When you notice the story, immediately stop and shift by making a gap between the money coming in and the value that you have. Say out loud: “This is not real. The money I receive has nothing to do with my value.”

Experiment with expressing gratitude for the money you receive, no matter how big or small the amount. As emotions come up while you do the experiment, note them in your Beep! Book and go through them with a spaceholder.
NOTES: Your value as a breathing, living human Being has no real connection with money. When you connect your value with money you live in a fantasy world.
